The Prevention and Protection Service of the University of Tuscia carries out various functions to ensure a safe working environment compliant with current regulations. Its main activities include managing safety and compliance with Legislative Decree 81/08, managing building and environmental hygiene for the prevention and protection of workers, as well as managing the collection and disposal of special waste.
Moreover, the Service handles the necessary interventions to bring workplaces into compliance with current regulations, including risk assessment and the implementation of appropriate safety measures. It also provides specific training in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, aiming to equip workers with the necessary skills to operate safely and consciously.
Finally, the Service provides administrative support for Health Surveillance, ensuring periodic monitoring of workers’ health status and offering assistance in managing documents and information related to employees’ health.
Through these activities, the Service is committed to creating a healthy and safe working environment, promoting the prevention and protection of workers, and contributing to the overall well-being within the organization.
