Start of the advanced course in Phytotherapy and Medicinal Plants

The Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) at the University of Tuscia, in collaboration with Sintesi – Center for Studies and Research, is pleased to announce the launch of the 27th edition of the advanced course in Phytotherapy and Medicinal Plants, which will begin on Saturday, January 25, 2025. The course will be held in the Aula Magna of the DEB (Largo dell’Università snc), Riello locality – Viterbo. The course director is Prof. Marcella Pasqualetti, a professor of the Department.

The one-year course includes 102 hours of lessons divided into six intensive seminars held on weekends. Its primary objective is to provide a solid understanding of medicinal and aromatic plants and their applications in clinical practice.

At the end of the program, participants who attend all the seminars and pass the final exam will receive an advanced diploma in Phytotherapy and Medicinal Plants, issued under the agreement between the DEB Department of the University of Tuscia and Sintesi – Center for Studies and Research.

The course is aimed at graduates in Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology (CPT), Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Psychology, Chemistry, Herbal Techniques, and other related scientific fields.
