Postdoctoral Fellowship Program between Spain and Australia

For appropriate dissemination, we share the proposal received from AuSpire – Australia-Spain Network for Innovation and Research Excellence, a new interdisciplinary program co-funded by the European Union. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between Spanish and Australian research communities through 28 postdoctoral fellowships.

Centered on the concept of planetary well-being, AuSpire seeks to address global challenges by promoting research that delivers significant and positive impacts for both people and ecosystems.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Hold a doctoral degree
  • Have not resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the past 3 years
  • Have not been previously or continuously employed by the host institution
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English

Fellowships are expected to begin in September 2025.
Applications must be submitted by May 29, 2025, at 11:59 pm CET.
