The chief resilience officer (CRO) is a key figure who transforms the way organizations respond to adverse situations, turning challenges into growth opportunities. They play a crucial role in managing and coordinating complex systems, including human, territorial, urban, financial, environmental, health, and cultural aspects.

It is multidisciplinary, with university professors and representatives/experts from companies, organizations, and local institutions. It develops skills typical of the resilient system – reflective, robust, redundant, flexible, resourceful, inclusive, and integrated – and promotes the training of professionals who can promote innovative, fair, responsible, and sustainable processes, generating an advantage for all stakeholders involved.
The University of Tuscia and Lyve Srl train professionals who apply the methodology of resilience to the uncertainties, risks, ambiguities, and unpredictabilities of the Information Society ecosystems.
To reconcile training and work, it is organized in a blended learning mode. Activities follow a learning-by-doing approach for frontal teaching, as well as other forms of study activities, applied projects on territories, and interdisciplinary case studies (labs and workshops).
Internship activities at institutions and companies complement the Master’s program.
The minimum number of enrollees required for the course to be activated is 10, while the maximum number of available seats is 30.
Criteria and admission procedures: Admission to the Master’s program is subject to the establishment of a ranking based on qualifications. In case the number of applications exceeds the maximum number of admitted students, access to the course is subject to evaluation by a dedicated committee. The Master’s program admits 3 auditors who can attend the course by paying a registration fee of 3,500 euros. Auditors will not be awarded a certificate. Public Administration (PA) employees will receive a 50% reduction in the registration fee for the Master’s program.
Duration: The Master’s program awards 60 ECTS credits and lasts for 12 months, totaling 360 hours of training.
Registration fee: The registration fee is 7,000 euros.
