Invest Your talent in Italy – “Giulia Cecchettin”
13 may 2024

For the past few years, the University of Tuscia has joined the national program “Invest Your Talent in Italy,” aimed at young international talents specializing in the fields of Engineering/High Technologies, Design/Architecture, and Economics/Management and coming from 17 focus countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, People’s Republic of China, Tunisia, Turkey, and Vietnam), who are offered scholarships for Master’s and Master’s degree programs at more than 20 Italian universities. The “Invest Your Talent in Italy” program was recently named after Giulia Cecchettin, a young Biomedical Engineering student and victim of feminicide, accompanying the naming by the inclusion in the scholarship recipients’ academic program of a seminar or training module dedicated to promoting gender equality and combating violence against women. The University of Viterbo has organized for May 13, at the Aula Magna “Scarascia Mugnozza,” an event dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the contrast to violence against women, and which will feature the extraordinary participation of writer Annabelle Hirsch, of German and French descent, with studies in Art History, Theater and Philosophy in Paris and Munich, author of “A History of Women in 100 Objects.”

Here is the program of the event.
