Laboratory of Rural Construction and Land Surveying

The Laboratory of Rural Construction and Land Surveying aims to support and assist training and research activities in the field of agricultural sciences, providing advanced expertise in the analysis, design, planning, and verification of agricultural buildings and the rural environment. Particular emphasis is placed on sustainable and innovative solutions aimed at improving the efficiency and restoration of rural structures. In this regard, the laboratory aims to:

  • Provide both theoretical and practical training in the relevant discipline, combining traditional surveying methods with innovative technologies for surveying and managing rural areas;
  • Develop research projects aimed at the sustainability of rural constructions, the reuse of buildings within the agricultural complex, and the restoration of individual structures and rural villages;
  • Collaborate with public and private institutions for the implementation of technologically advanced solutions and the development of innovative theoretical methods and contributions;
  • Promote the exchange of knowledge, good practices, and multidisciplinarity at the local and international levels, contributing to the development of sustainable agriculture and environmentally conscious use of territorial resources.

The laboratory is equipped with:

  • 1 Laser Scanner, model LEICA BLK360 G2;
  • 1 3D printer, model CreatBot Industrial 3D Printer, D600 PRO;
  • 1 Professional Thermal Camera, model FLIR TXXFLIR T865 with a 42° wide-angle lens;
  • Traditional surveying equipment.

Additionally, the laboratory is equipped with the following hardware and software:

  • ALTOS P130 F9 Workstation;
  • PREDATOR HELIOS 18 PH18-72-97CC Notebook;
  • TERMUS, SOLARICUS, ITACUS, GEOTERMUS – ACCA software.
