There is an online and face-to-face tutoring and orientation desk where tutor students can provide you with support and assistance.

The University of Tuscia offers prospective students MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses), which are free online courses available to everyone, useful for preparing for the basic math test.

The student community has access to scholarships provided by the university. Additionally, you can apply for scholarships offered by LazioDisco, the regional agency for the right to education.

The university cafeterias are managed by the Lazio region. There are two cafeterias in Viterbo: Mensa San Sisto (Piazza San Sisto, 8) and Mensa Via Alessandro Volta “Riello” (Via Alessandro Volta, 37), which is located just a short walk from the Department.

– Already enrolled→Navigate to General info for course programs, faculty office hours, and recommended texts.
– Already enrolled→ Go to Class Schedule or Gomp Calendar for schedules, classrooms, and lectures.

The study plan is the most important academic obligation for students. It does not need to be completed at the time of enrollment but can be filled out and/or modified during specific time windows communicated by the academic office.

The entrance test is online, free of charge, and can be taken multiple times. Check here for all available dates.

The Unitus email account will be activated after the payment of the first installment. Access credentials will be sent to the email address previously used during enrollment.

– November 4, 2024: Deadline for enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 for undergraduate programs (all years) and for the second year and beyond of master’s programs.

– December 29, 2024: Deadline for enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 for the first year of master’s programs.

– February 28, 2025: Deadline for enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 for those graduating between January and February 2025 who wish to enroll in the first year of a master’s program.

GOMP is the student portal and can be used for the following procedures:
– Enrollment in the entrance test
– Enrollment/registration for subsequent years
– Payment of fees
– Completion/modification of the study plan
– Thesis assignment request/graduation application
– Request for a master’s degree clearance

Moodle is the platform used by instructors to upload teaching materials and provide announcements or useful communications regarding courses. Within Moodle, you can also find:
– Links to access support courses (if offered via streaming)
– Workplace safety training courses
– Language courses organized by the University’s Language Center

If you need to balance work and study, you can apply for part-time enrollment. This request must be submitted between August 1 and September 30 of the academic year in question.

Students who do not pass the entrance test, even though it can be retaken multiple times, will be REQUIRED to attend a support course in mathematics and/or a support course in chemistry. These courses are specifically designed by the department to facilitate a successful academic path for enrolled students.

Attendance at lectures for degree programs is not mandatory, except in specific cases determined by the individual Degree Programme Board.

The entrance interview for master’s degrees is not a selection test. It is an assessment to verify that you meet the curricular requirements of the chosen degree program.

No, all educational activities are conducted in person. In compliance with regulations, current rules, and academic freedom, individual instructors may choose to use online methods if and when deemed beneficial for improving the quality of the teaching they provide.
