Research, Training and Didactics- CSALP

The main research projects in which the CSALP has been involved in recent years are:

1. Collaborative commitment to the “Trentino-Balkans 2018-2020 Cooperation and Development Programme
2. Collaboration with Land Salzburg through the project “Macroregional strategy 2014-2020: EU strategy for the Alpine Region” “CirculAlps: Innovation to foster sustainability and circular economy in Alpine forestry value chain”.
3. PFIT ASIAGO and LONGARONESE CADOR, ZOLDAN (financed: Veneto Region). Objective: development and testing of innovative methods for the inventory of resources and decision-making processes in forest planning at district level;
4. C_FORSAT (funding: Ministry of Universities and Scientific Research). Objective: To quantify the gross and net primary production of Italian forests with a spatial resolution of 1 km.
5. PALMO (financing: Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea. Objective: Identification of good practices for the development of local adaptation plans to climate change in the Mediterranean Mountain area.

7. CirculAlps Bioeconomy for the Alps

Practical training at the arboretum of Tesino for the students of the forestry and environmental degree courses of the University of Tuscia;

• Training  for students of Environmental and Forestry Sciences (L-25);
• Training  for students of Sustainable Management of Forests and Urban Landscaping (L-25 DAFNE);
• Tutorials for Forestry And Environmental Sciences (LM-73) students;
• Summer school of the Master in Food Law of the University of Tuscia;
• Summer school of the Association for the Study of Photography in Italy (SISF);
• International summer schools linked to PhDs and COST Actions of the European Union;
• School of Politics organized by the Fondazione Trentina Alcide De Gasperi and aimed at administrators of local authorities in the province of Trento;
• Courses on Communication of Scientific Research (CRS) organized by Dr. Maria Flora Mangano.
