The office performs the following functions:

• Secretariat activities and management of the Rector’s agenda
• Examination and sorting of the Rector’s incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Support for the institutional and representational activities of the Rector, Pro-Rector, and coordination with delegates
• Coordination activities for relations and rectorial documents
• Institutional communication activities
• Institutional relations and ceremonial-related activities
• Management of the ceremonial on the occasions of events organized by the Rector
• Management of the signing process for documents signed by the Rector
• Authorization of photo and video shoots
• Granting of spaces at S. Maria in Gradi and sponsorships
• Management of vehicles used by the Rector’s staff and driver service
