Relations with schools, society and institutions

In the context of the Third Mission activities of DISTU, numerous agreements with local entities are noted, relating to the territory of the municipality or province of Viterbo, but also agreements at regional and national levels, with particular attention to:

  1. Projects for the management of library, archival, archaeological, and museum assets in various Italian provinces (excavation campaigns, museum entities, libraries);
  2. PCTO projects, guidance/active orientation, enhancement and strengthening of linguistic skills, meetings on research and cross-cutting themes;
  3. Projects for the enhancement of cultural and artistic expressions of a specific language-culture;
  4. Projects for sharing research with the professional world and the third sector.

    16. Renewal of agreement between the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum (ParCO) and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 03/19/2024): medieval archaeology in the area of ParCO; interdisciplinary research program aimed at knowledge, conservation, enhancement, and fruition of the archaeological and monumental heritage of ParCO with particular reference to the area located at the foot of the Capitoline Hill;
    17. Cooperative agreement between ArcheoAres snc, Diocese of Viterbo, DISUCOM, and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 11/8/2023): knowledge and enhancement of the cultural heritage of the Cathedral Hill of Viterbo through archaeological investigations;
    18. Agreement between the Municipality of Soriano nel Cimino (VT) and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 12/6/2023): knowledge, recovery, and enhancement of the archaeological heritage of Soriano through research conducted in the settlement and territory;
    19. Agreement between the Regional Directorate of Museums Basilicata and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 12/6/2023): archaeological investigations and opening of stratigraphic trenches aimed at expanding knowledge, topographic definition, proposal of new forms of fruition and enhancement of the Venosa area, and cataloging, documentation, study, and organization, also with computer tools and digital and innovative methods, of materials from research conducted over time;

Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage for the Provinces of Cagliari and Oristano (Prot. n. 5532, Classification 34.16.16 / 56.1): Archaeological Civic Museum of Cuglieri (OR) in Sardinia, on archaeological excavation activities in the Sardo-Punic and Roman city of Cornus (Cuglieri/OR) (director: S.     2. Agreement between DISTU and Civic-Archaeological Museum “Genna Maria” in Villanovaforru, Sardinia (approved by the Board of Directors on March 14, 2023)
    3. Ministry of University and Research (MUR) (funding): Website “Multi – Multimedia Museum of the Italian Language” (FISR 2020 project) (responsible: S. Telve)
    4. Agreement between the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia (ETRU), DISUCOM, and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 11/8/2023): design and implementation of research, dissemination, education, and training initiatives related to cultural heritage with particular attention to that under the competence of ETRU; in particular (by way of non-exhaustive example): exhibitions, meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, and cultural events in general;

    1. Agreement for research funding between DISTU and the Professional Association for Forensic Practice, Bussoletti Nuzzo & Associates (“BNA”) (approved by the Board of Directors on May 3, 2023);
    2. Medical Order (Viterbo) (future agreement, 2024) for an interdisciplinary meeting of humanities and medical sciences, in the period September-December 2024 (responsible: F. Saggini);
    3. Agreement between the association SOS MEDITERRANEE Italia and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 01/25/2024): curricular internship programs;
    4. Agreement between the Bar Association of Viterbo and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 01/25/2024): internship semester for access to the legal profession;
    5. Memorandum of Understanding between the Antonino Scopelliti Foundation (FAS) and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 12/6/2023): design, implementation, and promotion of paths of legality and educational and training projects aimed at students who, in various capacities, are involved in the paths of legality promoted by the FAS;

    5. Agreement between DISTU and the company Alma Sistemi S.r.l, Montecelio (Rome) for co-financing a scholarship for the Ph.D. in historical sciences and cultural heritage (approved by the Board of Directors on January 12, 2023)
    6. FAI (Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano ETS) – DISTU agreement (approved by the Board of Directors on 03/19/2024): scientific enhancement activities and promotion of sites open to the public during the FAI Spring and Autumn Days, involving students participating in the Project;

    1. Agreement between DISTU and IC Montalcini (approved by the Board of Directors on September 27, 2022 – digitally signed by the Director on September 28, 2022, transmitted via PEC to the Institute on the same day, Protocol no. 713): strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing and strengthening the Italian language skills of Ukrainian and Russian-speaking minor refugees at the “Rita Levi Montalcini” Comprehensive Institute, located in Rome, viale Marco Fulvio Nobiliore n. 78, 00175 Rome (ref. prog.     2. Agreement between DISTU and Liceo Santa Rosa (approved by the Board of Directors on October 11, 2023 – ref. Òrog. V. Almonte). Rosa da Viterbo” (approved by the Board of Directors on 11/8/2023): collaboration agreement for the dissemination of the Chinese language among students of Liceo Santa Rosa (duration: until 8/31/2024)

    4. Agreement between UniTus (for DISTU) and Buratti High School (?): Conducting a basic course in Lusophone language and culture, lasting 20 hours (resp. C. Rosa)
    5. Agreement between Galileo Galilei Scientific, Linguistic and Musical High School (Civitavecchia) and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 01/25/2024): training and orientation internships;
    6. Agreement between IISST “Majorana-Mattani” in Orvieto (TR) and DISTU (approved by the Board of Directors on 12/6/2023): training and orientation internships;

  • LIST OF ACTIVE ORIENTATION AGREEMENTS (UNIVERSITY FOR DISTU)

    Agreement between UniTus (for DISTU) and IIS Stendhal (Civitavecchia) for Active Orientation: Activities of Module V) lab initiative aimed at promoting the fight against inequalities, social inclusion, and opportunities for access to humanistic knowledge, with particular focus on the figure of the “other”, through a comparative-contrastive approach between our cultural system and that of the presented foreign language and culture, with particular regard to:

    a) June 14, 2023: For the Chinese language and culture area, visit to the Pigorini Museum, with particular emphasis on the historical-cultural importance of the exchanges along the Silk Road; for the Russian language and culture area, and more generally for Slavic languages and cultures, visit to the Basilica of S. Clemente, with particular regard to the Slavic-Oriental tradition and the origin of the Cyrillic alphabet; for the Arabic language and culture area, visit to the Islamic Cultural Center of Italy-Grand Mosque to begin to understand the basics of Arabic (Islamic) culture (ref. prog. Agreement between the University (for all departments) and the Municipality of Montefiascone/Province of Viterbo: February 9, 2023, The University meets the territory: dialogues on the present and future at the Rocca dei Papi, Montefiascone; thematic meeting (“research and cross-cutting issues”) aimed at high school students in Montefiascone, with an invitation from G. De Santis, Mayor of the city, in the presence of A. Romoli, President of the province, and Rector S. Ubertini; at the event, contributions were made by: for DISTU A.
