The first students of the Master’s Degree Program in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition graduate at Unitus.

Viterbo, October 15, 2024 – Today, the University of Tuscia celebrates a significant milestone with the graduation of the first ten students from the Master’s Degree Program in Human Nutrition and Food Sciences, launched in the academic year 2022/2023. The graduation ceremony took place in classroom 5 at the Viterbo campus of the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB), in an atmosphere filled with emotion and pride.

This interdepartmental program involves the Departments of Ecological and Biological Sciences and Innovation in Biological, Agri-food, and Forestry Systems, offering students a multidisciplinary education that prepares them to tackle contemporary challenges in nutrition and food safety. All the graduates achieved top marks, reflecting their commitment and dedication throughout their academic journey.

Professor Nicolò Merendino, the program’s chair, emphasized the significance of this achievement, noting that the new graduates are now ready to actively contribute to societal well-being and scientific advancement in an increasingly important field.
