“Brigida Palelli” Graduation Prize 2024: Award Ceremony on October 30

The Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) at the University of Tuscia announces that on October 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM, in RClass 2 (ground floor, Block B, Largo dell’Università snc), the award ceremony for the “Brigida Palelli” Graduation Prize for the best master’s thesis in Life Sciences will take place.

The award, established in memory of Mrs. Brigida Palelli, a librarian at the University of Tuscia’s technical-scientific center and a student in the Biological Sciences degree program at our University, aims to promote academic excellence and scientific research in the biological field, reflecting Mrs. Palelli’s dedication to knowledge and the academic community.

This year, the prize will be awarded to Dr. Francesca Pancrazi, who graduated with a master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, for her thesis titled “Impact of low magnetic fields on growth and defense-related mechanisms in tomato plants.” During the ceremony, the winner will present the scientific results of her thesis project and their potential impact on Life Sciences topics.

The ceremony is an important occasion to celebrate the excellence and achievements of the brightest students at our University. The event is open to everyone.

To facilitate participation in the ceremony, educational activities for the master’s degree courses and the third year of undergraduate courses at the Viterbo campus of the DEB Department will be suspended during the relevant time slot.
