Security and Human Rights: Visiting Lecture | Adam Mickiewicz University

The University of Tuscia recently welcomed two distinguished scholars from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. Prof. Bartosz Hordecki and Dr. Anna
Sakson-Boulet were invited to deliver guest lectures as part of the International Master’s Programme in Security and Human Rights (SHR) at the Department of
Legal, Social and Educational Sciences (DIKE).
During their visit, the Polish academics engaged in a productive discussion with Prof. Carlo Sotis, Head of DIKE Department, exploring avenues for academic
collaboration. Further strengthening institutional ties, they met with Prof. Stefano Speranza, Delegate of the Rector for International Relations, and Dr. Carlo Contardo, Head of the Mobility and International Cooperation Office, to enhance Erasmus mobility and discuss the Erasmus+ blended programmes.
Research collaboration was also a key focus, with Prof. Alessandro Boccolini leading discussions on potential joint research initiatives. Additionally, with the support of Prof. Andrea Colantoni and Prof. Bogdana Nosova, the International and Erasmus Offices, along with SHR course coordinator Prof. Daniela Vitiello, laid the groundwork for a new Memorandum of Understanding between UNITUS and Adam Mickiewicz University.

This agreement paves the way for a prospective double- degree programme between the institutions’ respective international courses.
This visit marks a significant step towards deepening academic and research collaboration, fostering new opportunities for students and faculty alike.
