- Bio
- Chiara Baldacchini is an expert in the electronic and optical properties of organic and biological molecules on surfaces, characterized using advanced spectroscopic and microscopic techniques, also in relation to the design and characterization of high-sensitivity biosensors for the detection of biomarkers. In recent years, she developed applied research topics in the environmental and agri-food fields, developing new methodologies for the characterization of airborne particulate matter removed by plants from the atmosphere and for food traceability. This activity lead her to work also in developping impact assessment methodologies and cataloguing of Nature-based Solutions. She published more than 45 among scientific papers on international journals and book chapters (H-index: 22)
