      • Daniele Groppi is assistant professor at Tuscia University. Daniele Groppi obtained his PhD in Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis entitled "The role of sector coupling in planning the transition of a smart energy island". His research fields are energy planning, energy systems modelling and design at different scales from building to national. Results of his work have been published in more than 50 papers in Scopus database leading to a h-index of 23 that lead to be included in the Top2% Scientists of 2024 in the field of "Energy & Strategic Technologies" and the subfield "Energy". He has different editorial roles, among those he is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Buildings - MDPI.
