      • David Costantini is Professor of Physiology and Ecophysiology at the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences of the University of Tuscia. His research topics are mainly focused on the role of physiological functions (i) in the generation of biological diversity, with particular regard to the growth and development environment, and life-history strategies, and (ii) in determining adaptability of animal populations to environmental changes. In 2013, he was awarded an international prize by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. He has been included since 2019 in the ranking compiled by the Stanford University, which includes the 100,000 most cited scientists in the world.
