      • In 2015 Lara Costantini has got her PhD in food biotechnology, with a research related to the use of chia seeds in the formulation of functional foods and their impact on biochemical markers of cardiometabolic diseases. Between 2015 and 2021 she owned seven postdoctoral positions including scholarships and research grants. Since December 2021 she is a research fellow (RTDa) in biochemistry (SSD BIO/10). She is specialized in the formulation and study of functional foods, in dietetics, and in the correlation between nutrition and microbiota. The impact of her research includes 32 indexed international publications, over 1500 citations and an h-index of 15.
