      • Marialetizia Palomba obtained her PhD in "Ecology and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources" in 2020 from the University of Tuscia. Following a position as a Type A Researcher (RTDA) at the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences from 2021 to 2024, she currently serves as a Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) in the same department. Her research expertise lies in marine parasitology, with a specific focus on the molecular and adaptive mechanisms governing host-parasite interactions, particularly involving anisakid nematodes. Dr. Palomba has participated in national and international research projects as both Principal Investigator and team member, contributing to over 50 scientific publications.
