Martedì 10 dicembre, ore 11:00 presso l’aula 6 del Blocco F (Campus Riello) con il prof. Marcin Piotrowski e la prof.ssa Patrycja Piotrowska che parleranno sul tema dell’ Archeologia preventiva avrà inizio la terza edizione del ciclo di seminari “I mestieri del patrimonio” organizzato dal Polo dei Beni Culturali dell’Università della Tuscia.
La presenza di relatori impegnati direttamente nel settore e protagonisti del dibattito culturale in corso sarà un’occasione per riflettere sulle molte professionalità che agiscono nel campo del patrimonio culturale italiano e internazionale e sul rapporto della formazione universitaria con il mondo del lavoro, tra eredità storica, riassetti ministeriali e nuove strategie di valorizzazione.
I cinque appuntamenti in programma si svolgeranno tra dicembre e maggio
Marcin Piotrowski, archeologo medievista. Allievo del prof. Stanisław Tabaczyński, è stato docente di Archeologia medievale presso le Università Maria Skłodowska-Curie di Lublino e Universita’ Cattolica di Lublino e collabora da lungo tempo con gli archeologi dell’Università della Tuscia. Oltre alla ricerca sul Medioevo europeo, specialmente del mondo slavo (anche in Italia), si occupa dell’applicazione e dello sviluppo dei metodi non invasivi in archeologia. Coordina numerose ricerche sul campo in Polonia e in Italia (nell’Alto Lazio, in Friuli, in Sicilia).
Patrycja Piotrowska, archeologa protostorica, è specializzata nei metodi di ricerca archeologia non invasiva e nelle ricostruzioni 3D dei monumenti storici. Già legata all’Università Maria Skłodowska-Curie di Lublino, dirige attualmente Gorgona, una delle principali realtà imprenditoriali attive in Polonia nell’ambito archeologico.
