Research interests focus on Invasive Forest Pathogens, their pathways of introduction and spread, and their impact on biodiversity, ecosystems functionality, and sustainability; strategies to prevent and mitigate the effect of biological invasions; Integrated Pest Management (IPM); innovation in post-harvest technologies; microbiology and innovative technologies in composting processes.
