Curriculum Vitae

  • Personal profile and research interests

Graduated with a master’s degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from Tuscia University, I began my PhD in EMMQ in 2020. My research focuses on the economic sustainability of farms, addressing financial viability and management of production factors. Other research interests encompass agricultural policy evaluation and sustainable resource use, especially irrigation water. Collaborations with national and international research groups have enhanced my interdisciplinary approach, integrating technical and analytical skills.

  • PhD project

My research project examines how changes in agricultural input use, driven by EU policies like the Green Deal and the Farm to Fork (F2F) strategy, impact the economic and financial sustainability of Italian farms. The F2F Strategy aims to reduce the environmental impacts of the food supply chain by protecting terrestrial, marine, and water resources, with key goals including the reduction of chemical inputs in agriculture. My research uses econometric techniques to assess how these policy constraints on production factors affect farm profitability and sustainability. Additionally, Mathematical Programming models are applied for ex-ante analyses, incorporating both technical aspects of agricultural production and resource management, such as irrigation water. The primary objective is to evaluate the economic effects of these constraints and provide insights to support the transition to sustainable agricultural practices.
