ABSTRACT
New technologies can help winegrowers in the decision-making process in order to adapt their production mode in their vineyards using new devices (sensors, robots and drones) and digital techniques to monitor and optimize agriculture production processes.
WINEgROVER represents a cost-effective integral solution based on the implementation of the two full prototypes.
Each of them consisting in: a remote-controlled aircraft component (UAV), an innovative autonomous terrestrial electric rover moving along the vineyards and equipped with actuators, multi-sensory instrumentation for proximal sensing, areal time location system, a ground control station IoT management platform, software and a series of sensors for real time data and for ground monitoring of main microclimatic parameters.
